TIL: the recently discovered tianxing gibbon was given the name Skywalker in honor of Master Luke. However, the full Chinese name of this fellow is ‘tianxing baimei changbiyuan’ 天行白眉長臂猿, which is literally ‘Skywalker white brow gibbon’ because of the creature’s distinctive eyebrows.
