Just over a decade
ago, a remarkable collection of 70 lead books were found in a cave in Jordan,
containing what may be the earliest written references and portrait of Jesus,
and since then, British couple David and Jennifer Elkington have been involved in
an escapade to safeguard the priceless artifacts. They’ve been shot at and
threatened with having their heads placed on spikes. Previously dismissed as
forgeries, the Jordan codices have now been confirmed as authentic by latest
analyses performed by the University of Surrey, and what they reveal could
change what is currently believed about Jesus’ life.
