Vacation…

Back in the States feeling weird, depressed, and out of place in my home-country…Call it counter-culture shock, dysphoria about being in the place you come from after being away for a long time? Anyway, incredibly hot in the Carolinas during the day, nice in the mornings and evenings—as opposed to oppressive all day and night in TW. Got to see the fam though, all those strangers who were once (on different time lines) very close. Mom is doing terrible. Others have aged beyond my comprehension. All awkward-familiar, strange-normal (uncanny?), and semi-upsetting. Grr.
