Originally conceived as a study tour in
the 60s to cultivate cultural exchange between Taiwanese and Chinese
students, the tour gradually came to be known as the Taiwan Love Boat
because of how easy it was for participants to find romance whilst on
tour.

Ethnically Taiwanese and Chinese students from Canada,
America, Europe, South America and beyond all joined in when the Taiwan
Love Boat became an underground legend for epic romances.
